For Laboratories

Your customers use Lab Services. Here's what that means for you.

Lab Services is the customer app and the entry point to labs running on Milva Lab. Each lab has its own workspace, and the customer relationship stays between you and your customer. This guide explains what changes, and what stays the same.

What Lab Services changes for labs

You receive structured submissions

Instead of an email with a PDF chain-of-custody form attached, your customer's submission arrives in your workspace on Milva Lab: sample type, collection date, submitting organisation, and the customer's reference number, all in one place.

You return results digitally

When analysis is complete, you return results in your Milva Lab workspace. The customer is notified instantly in Lab Services. No PDF email, no phone call to say results are ready.

You do the lab work in Milva Lab

Your workspace on Milva Lab is where the lab work runs. Lab Services is where your customers submit, track and receive. Milva owns Lab Services; you do not need to run or maintain it.

Your relationship with the customer stays yours

The customer contract sits between you and your customer, running on Milva's digital infrastructure. Pricing, turnaround agreements, and communication with the customer continue as before.
