Platform overview

LabServices is a cloud-hosted SaaS platform. No installation required. Accessible via web browser and mobile app (iOS and Android). EU-hosted.

User roles and permissions

LabServices has three standard user roles.

  • Project Manager — create cases, submit samples, view results for own cases
  • Regional Manager — view and manage all cases within their region; export regional reports
  • Organisation Admin — manage users, labs, and organisation settings

Lab integration

LabServices connects to accredited laboratory partners to deliver structured sample submissions and receive digital results. See the Laboratories guide for details on how labs connect.

  • Labs receive submissions via the LabServices lab portal or API
  • Results returned as structured data. No PDF email required.
  • Support for PDF result upload where direct integration is not yet available

Data and security

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). Access is role-based. Data is stored in EU datacenters and subject to GDPR.

API access

A REST API is available for Enterprise tier customers: enabling integration with your project management system, ERP, or insurer reporting platform. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
